Maumee Churches United is comprised of St. Joseph’s Catholic, St. Paul’s Lutheran, First Presbyterian, St. Paul’s Episcopal, Cass Road Baptist, and Maumee United Methodist. MCU work together to:
Provide a public witness through the annual "Cross Walk." This event brings hundreds of congregants together on Good Friday to participate in 14 stations of the cross around Uptown Maumee.Support and celebrate the accomplishments of Maumee High School students through a citywide Baccalaureate service.Provide support and assistance to victims of domestic violence through participation in the Maumee Domestic Violence Task Force, monetary support to victims, and help in securing emergency housing in crisis.Support the Maumee Traveler's fund. A fund managed by the Maumee Police Department for those traveling through our area and needing assistance. MCU pastors and churches may send people who need assistance moving on to another destination to the police station for fuel or food vouchers.
